Yes. Grimm Repairs is 100% mobile — there is no shop to drive to. We load the van with shop-grade tools, diagnostic hardware and common wear parts and work on your vehicle where it sits: your driveway, an apartment lot, your job site or the shoulder of the road.
What areas do you cover?
Everything within a 50-mile radius of Spring Lake, NC. Flat-rate and upfront. We diagnose the problem, then hand you an itemized price before a single bolt is turned. You approve it or you do not — there are no shop fees and no surprise line items. Quotes are free and you are never charged for a job you did not approve.
What does a diagnostic cost?
The diagnostic fee runs $80 to $120 depending on where you are located. If you go ahead with the repair, we typically discount that fee by 50%. You get the findings either way — there is no obligation to have us do the work.
What kinds of repairs can you do mobile?
Most of what a general repair shop does on a lift: brakes, batteries, starters, alternators, belts, sensors, fluids, oil service, suspension and steering components, transmission fluid and filter service, leak diagnosis and full-system computer diagnostics including no-start tracing.
What can’t be done mobile?
A few jobs genuinely need a lift or a press, and some failed transmissions need a specialist rather than a service. When that is the case we tell you straight up before you spend a dime, instead of taking the job apart and then breaking the news.
Do you work weekends?
Yes. Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Emergency roadside calls can come in anytime.
